About SyncApp — parent-brand boilerplate
Drop into articles or release notes when describing the studio rather than a specific product.
One-paragraph
SyncApp is an independent Android app studio building cloud-sync tools that respect users' attention and intelligence. The first product, SyncApp for OneDrive, ships May 2026. Eight provider-specific apps are planned across 2026 and 2027 — one each for Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, Apple iCloud, Box, MEGA, pCloud, plus a Universal multi-destination edition.
Three-paragraph
SyncApp is an independent Android app studio building cloud-sync tools that respect users' attention and intelligence. The studio was founded around the observation that the existing Android cloud-sync category — dominated by single-developer "autosync" apps — is stuck on a 2014 user experience: ad-supported free tiers, polling-based sync engines, and feature-gated paywalls that frustrate exactly the users who'd otherwise pay.
SyncApp's apps share a common architecture (event-driven sync via Android
MediaStore, multi-account auth via the cloud's official SDK, no SyncApp-side handling of file contents) but ship as eight separate provider-specific apps. The first, SyncApp for OneDrive, launches May 2026. Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud, Box, MEGA, pCloud, and a Universal multi-destination edition are scheduled across 2026 and 2027.The studio is based in India, ships in 51 languages from day one (including all 22 official languages of India — a deliberate choice the Android productivity category has historically skipped), and offers all of its products with a one-time lifetime purchase option in addition to monthly and yearly subscriptions.
Stat-sheet
- Studio: SyncApp (independent)
- Based in: India
- First product: SyncApp for OneDrive (May 2026)
- Roadmap: 8 provider-specific apps across 2026–2027 + Universal multi-destination edition
- Tech stack: Native Android (Kotlin + Jetpack Compose), per-provider official SDK for auth, no proprietary file-handling backend
- Pricing model: Free tier + monthly/yearly subscription + one-time lifetime, with regional pricing for emerging markets
- Languages at launch: 51, including all 22 official languages of India
- Privacy: files travel directly device → cloud; SyncApp's own servers never handle file contents
Brand context for journalists
- The name is
SyncApp, one word, capital S and A. Not "Sync App" or "syncApp". - Per-product names follow
SyncApp for <Provider>— never translated, never abbreviated. - The studio is independent. No partnership relationships with Microsoft, Google, Apple, or any other cloud provider.
- "OneDrive", "Google Drive", etc. are destinations the apps integrate with via published APIs, not partnerships or affiliations.

One-line pitch (≤120 chars)
SyncApp for OneDrive is a Microsoft OneDrive sync app for Android that watches your folders for changes and uploads in seconds, not minutes.
50-word elevator (≤350 chars)
SyncApp for OneDrive is a fast, two-way Microsoft OneDrive sync app for Android. Unlike apps that poll every fifteen minutes, SyncApp watches your folders the moment a file lands — a photo you take is on OneDrive in seconds. Multi-account, no ads, lifetime plan available.
100-word pitch
SyncApp for OneDrive is a Microsoft OneDrive sync app for Android, built around a single observation: existing tools poll your folders every fifteen minutes at best, so a photo you take is in the cloud minutes later. SyncApp watches your folders the moment a file changes — a new photo is on OneDrive in seconds. Two-way sync, multi-account (personal and work side by side), Wi-Fi and battery rules, fifty-one languages including all twenty-two official languages of India, and a lifetime purchase option for users who'd rather not subscribe forever. No ads, ever.
250-word press release pitch
SyncApp for OneDrive launches on Google Play, bringing instant Microsoft OneDrive sync to Android. Where existing third-party tools poll your folders every fifteen minutes — leaving photos and documents stuck on the device for many minutes after they're created — SyncApp watches your folders as they change. The result: a photo taken on the device is on OneDrive in seconds.
The app is fully two-way: edits made on a phone or in OneDrive show up on the other side automatically. Personal and work OneDrive accounts (including SharePoint sites) sit side by side, switchable in a tap. Sync rules — Wi-Fi only, only-while-charging, pause on cellular, battery thresholds — give users full control without any of the dark-pattern paywalls that the category has become known for.
SyncApp ships in fifty-one languages including all twenty-two official languages of India, a market often skipped by Android productivity apps. Pricing covers monthly, yearly, and one-time lifetime tiers, with regional pricing for emerging markets. The app does not show ads — the free tier is supported by a transparent feature-gating model documented in-app.
SyncApp for OneDrive is the first of eight provider-specific apps planned in the SyncApp portfolio. Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud, Box, MEGA, pCloud, and a Universal multi-destination edition are scheduled for Q4 2026 and 2027.

What we're NOT
For accuracy, in case a reviewer is comparing categories:
- We are not a backup app. Files sync, but we don't do snapshot-based backup with point-in-time recovery.
- We are not a multi-cloud router (yet). One account-per-flavor in v1; multi-destination in the upcoming Universal edition.
- We are not Microsoft. SyncApp is independent; OneDrive is a destination, not a partner.
